NHS treatment is available to everyone.
You do not have to be in receipt of benefits to come to NHS dentist.

Prices for the NHS treatments:

NHS DENTISTRY IS COMPLETELY FREE FOR THE FOLLOWING PATIENTS:
* Children under 18
* Pregnant Mothers
* Those on Maternity Benefit
* Income Support
* Job Seekers Allowance
* Working Tax Credit
* Pension Credit

For all other dental patients, NHS prices as of 1st April 2011 are as follows:

Band 1 – £17.00
This course of treatment includes an examination, diagnosis (e.g. x-rays), advice on how to
prevent future problems, and a scale and polish if needed.

Band 2 – £47.00
This includes everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings,
root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3 – £204.00
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns or new dentures.

Urgent Appointment – £17.00
If you require urgent care, but your urgent treatment needs more than one
appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one charge of £17.00
